No registration is required to access the information on this website. 

Surveys or Contests:

From time to time, we may provide you with the opportunity to participate in contests, polls or surveys on our site.  Please note that if you choose to contact HWTK.net or participate in any poll, forum or other activity in which you voluntarily provide information to HWTK.net, that information may be retained and used by HWTK.net. 

Orders:

HWTK.net does not currently conduct any direct sales of merchandise or data.  If you select a link or are otherwise directed to a site in order to make a purchase, you are making contact with a third party (the “Vendor”), not HWTK.net.  This Vendor may be an individual or a corporate entity and you should inquire directly to the Vendor to determine how information gather from you will be used.  HWTK.net has no control over how your information is used by any third party, including Vendors.  Please refer to our Vendor Agreements page for additional information regarding our relationships with third parties. 

Special Offers, Newsletters and Updates:

HWTK.net does not currently offer a newsletter or other update service.

HWTK.net has affiliation and/or advertising agreements with several third party Vendors.  HWTK.net may share aggregated demographic information, such as traffic counts, about our visitor base with our partners and advertisers.  This information does not identify individual users.  This information will not be used to identify specific visitors. 

HWTK.net does not share personally identifiable information with Third Parties, except that visitors to our site who “click-through” using a HWTK.net link to reach a third party site may be tagged, by placement of a “cookie” or other means, as having been referred by HWTK.net.  See “Orders” above.    If you do not wish to be tagged, then you must not use the provided links on the HWTK.net site to contact our affiliated Vendors.

HWTK.net may use a third party tracking service that uses cookies or log files to collect non-personally identifiable information about visitors to our site in the aggregate to track total site traffic.   Other information may be automatically gather by our net hosting service but is not accessed by HWTK.net.

Some of the photographs and graphics used herein are from my own personal collection, others are materials provided to me by affiliated vendors or others who retain the rights to these images.  Finally, many of the scenic photographs were taken from copyright free government sources including but not limited to NASA, NOAA, AILS and FWS.  These images can be found at the various government websites, but I was able to locate them at Gimp-Savvy.com.
